Medium: Varying wayfinding system components created with Adobe Illustrator

The Jerome Library is the center of information on Bowling Green State University’s campus. It is highly important that the space is not only accessible by students and staff, but also comfortable and inviting for fostering exploration and ingenuity. The existing wayfinding system at The Library failed to do so, hence this redesign aims to fix those shortcomings. Through more expressive typography, the use of BGSU’s most recent Brand Guidelines, and considering the cohesion between all elements of the system, this solution will make The Library an enjoyable and easy to use environment across all of its eight floors. The Jerome Library is BGSU's most valuable asset, and redesigning the wayfinding system is the best way to ensure The Library’s fullest potential is utilized.
